The ACM–IEEE-CS Ken Kennedy Award recognizes outstanding contributions to programmability or productivity in high-performance computing, together with significant community service or mentoring contributions.

Nomination Guidelines:
- Anyone may submit a nomination. Membership in IEEE or the IEEE Computer Society (IEEE CS) is not required to nominate, endorse, or receive IEEE CS awards.
- Self-nominations will not be accepted.
- Members of the Franchised Board of Governors are not permitted to nominate or endorse major award nominations.
- Each nomination must be accompanied by a minimum of two endorsements by the award deadline.
- Nominations must be submitted online at: https://www.computer.org/volunteering/awards/kennedy
Maximum Award: The award is presented annually at a conference of the awardee’s choice and is accompanied by a prize of $5,000.
