The GenScript Life Science Research Grant (GenScript LSRG) is a global initiative for life science innovation. It provides funding, access to GenScript scientific expertise, and opportunities to connect with the broader research ecosystem.

Scope: The grant program supports researchers engaged in projects that can significantly contribute to critical areas of life science research, including, but not limited to, AI- drug discovery (AIDD), antibody development, cell and gene therapy, vaccines, diagnostics, and biologics. In addition to the general research grant, GenScript LSRG also offers a special AI Drug Discovery Frontier Grant dedicated exclusively to projects focused on AI-driven drug discovery.
Eligibility: The program is open to researchers worldwide. There are no restrictions on geographic location, and international applicants are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants include academic/research institutions, universities, biotechnology companies, and other organizations engaged in life science research.
Local, state, provincial, and government officials, as well as employees thereof, are not eligible. Healthcare organizations (including hospitals, healthcare professionals, and their employees) may also be ineligible.
Awards: Funding levels range from up to $10K to up to $500K depending on the award tier. The GenScript LSRG grant is awarded in the form of credits that can be used for services and products at GenScript. No cash or direct funds will be issued to awardees, in accordance with program policies. Shipping costs are generally not included in GenScript LSRG award funding and will need to be covered separately by the awardee.
