1. Build with Gemini XPRIZE
 
The Build with Gemini XPRIZE is a global innovation competition that challenges entrepreneurs, developers, and innovators to create AI-powered businesses using Google’s technology stack. The programme supports participants in transforming real-world community challenges into working products, sustainable businesses, and scalable solutions through a 90-day innovation journey.
 
Scope: AI solutions in one of the following categories
• Education & Human Potential: Transforming how we learn, grow, and achieve our best.
• Entrepreneurship & Job Creation: Fueling the tools that help new founders and economies thrive.
• Small Business Services: Powering everyday businesses with tools to compete and win.
• Money & Financial Access: Breaking down barriers to banking, capital, and financial freedom.
• Professional Services Access: Connecting everyday people with the expert guidance they need.
 
Eligibility: Entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, startups, and teams creating AI-based solutions can participate.
 
Benefits: The competition offers a total prize pool of $2 million. The top 5 projects will be invited to pitch live at the Moonshot Summit on September 25, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, for their chance to claim a share of $1,000,000 in grand prizes.

2. Grant Program for Skin Research
 
The program supports innovative research that advances knowledge in dermatology and skin biology. It welcomes applications from researchers across the world working on projects that improve the understanding of skin diseases, their biological mechanisms, clinical management, and their impact on patients and society.
 
Funding Organization: LEO Foundation
 
Research Scope: Dermatology and skin biology
 
Eligibility: Applications are open to researchers worldwide who hold a PhD (or equivalent), act as the Principal Investigator, and are affiliated with a university, hospital, or other non-profit research institution.
 
Maximum Award: Up to DKK 4 million for research projects lasting 1 to 3 years.

3. SEARCA Travel Grants Program
 
The SEARCA Travel Grants Program is designed to enable Southeast Asian nationals to engage with the global scientific community. The program provides financial support for participation in scientific conferences, workshops, and forums, helping grantees share research, establish professional networks, and foster collaborations that advance sustainable agricultural and rural development.
 
Priority Themes: Agricultural development, food security, climate resilience, and empowerment of agricultural stakeholders.
 
Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be nationals of Southeast Asian countries
• Be professionals, researchers, social scientists, or graduate students in agriculture, rural development, or related fields
• Submit papers aligned with SEARCA’s priority themes.
 
Priority Applicants
• Individuals presenting papers or research at conferences
• Projects or presentations that foster meaningful linkages, collaborations, or tangible development outcomes
 
Maximum Award: Up to USD 1,200, which can cover conference registration fees, travel costs (airfare, ground transportation), accommodation, and related expenses for both in-person and online events.
 
Application Process: Applications must be submitted online through the SEARCA Grants Information System.
 
Application Deadline: Applications are accepted four times a year. Next deadline is 31 August 2026.
