The Malaysia–Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA) shall be expended for supporting any research and development in fields of science and technology relating to exploration or exploitation of petroleum or natural resources for the Joint Development Area.

Proposal guideline and Submission
– The proposal must be written in English and submitted in typed format. The Principal Investigator shall submit the proposal together with a cover letter addressed to the MTJA CEO, through the RCF focal persons at thanarat@mtja.org, marahizal@mtja.org, and RCF_project@mtja.org.
– Submit the project proposal through KMUTT Integrated System for Research and Innovation Management (KIRIM)
Timeline of Submission
Research proposals may be submitted to MTJA throughout the year, with no fixed deadline. Such submission will be assigned to the available proposal review cycle.
