1. SWITCH-Asia Programme for Scaling up Sustainable Consumption and Production under Global Gateway

This programme seeks to promote sustainable value chains between Asia and the EU while contributing to local economic recovery and a more competitive, environmentally friendly economy. The initiative focuses on reducing the carbon and environmental footprint of key economic sectors, both within Asia and in connection with European markets. It encourages businesses to adopt greener industrial processes, circular production methods, and bio-based solutions. By fostering international standards and low-carbon business models, the programme aims to integrate Asian MSMEs into sustainable global supply chains.

Funding Organization: European Union

Scope: The priority of this call for proposals is to scale up pioneering practices and pilot initiatives that help decoupling growth from resource use and emissions, promoting sustainable consumption and production patterns and/or making Asia-EU value chains more sustainable.

Eligibility: Eligible applicants include businesses, research and technology organisations, civil society groups, and other private or non-governmental organisations established in Asia or Europe.

Maximum Award: Upto 4 million euros for three to four years, covering up to 75 percent of total project costs.
