1. SENSE Foundation Brussels Grant Program
The SENSE Foundation Brussels supports nonprofits in Belgium and abroad that align with its mission in health, environment, and sustainable development. The foundation prioritizes projects focused on genetics, nutrition, environmental protection, and related arts and culture initiatives—especially those led by women and minorities, ensuring inclusion and diversity guide its support.
Funding Organization: SENSE Foundation Brussels
Scope: Genetics, nutrition, environmental protection, and related arts and culture
Eligibility: Eligible organizations must be legally registered as nonprofits and must have at least two years of operating history.
Awards: Up to €25,000

2. IUPAC-Zhejiang NHU International Award for Advancements in Green Chemistry
The IUPAC-Zhejiang NHU International Award for Advancements in Green Chemistry recognizes the importance of advancements in Green Chemistry and the value of science to human progress.

Scope: Chemistry
Eligibility: Applications are open to chemists worldwide.

• 2,000 USD each for early-career chemists awards
• 10,000 USD for an experienced chemist award

3. Lantmännen Research Foundation Grants
The Lantmännen Research Foundation Grants 2026 support research projects that create practical knowledge and innovative solutions for agriculture, food systems, bioenergy, and sustainable materials.
Funding Organization: Lantmännen Research Foundation
Focus Areas:
• Agriculture and machinery
• Food and health
• Bioenergy and green materials
Eligibility: The programme is open to researchers from universities, research institutes, colleges, and research-based companies worldwide.
Awards: In 2026, the Lantmännen Research Foundation will award SEK 25 million to research projects. The distribution of funds between the three focus areas is not predetermined. There is no fixed maximum budget per project. As a guideline, the Foundations’s annual budget is generally distributed to 15-20 projects.

4. Simons Foundation Targeted Grants to Institutes
The Targeted Grants to Institutes program is intended to support established institutes or centers in the mathematics and theoretical basic physical sciences through funding to help strengthen contacts within the international scientific community.
Funding Organization: Simons Foundation
Scope: Mathematics and theoretical basic physical sciences
Eligibility: Applications may be submitted by established U.S. and foreign public and private educational and nonprofit institutes and research centers.
Awards: Up to $750,000 USD for three years.
Allowable expenses include:
• Salary support and related benefits for visiting scholars, postdoctoral fellows and research associates, and/or graduate students.
• Support for visitors, including domestic and international travel, meals and lodging expenses.
• Conferences, workshops, summer schools and scientific meetings, including meals, travel, lodging, and facility fees.
• Other expenses related to the support and administration of the supported institute activities (e.g., administrative professional staff)
