1. Halton Foundation Grant Program 2026
 
The Halton Foundation provides funding opportunities to non-profit organizations researching how to improve human wellbeing in indoor environments. Grants have been awarded in several areas including helping children with asthma, funding for the Himalayas Stove project, and providing grants to universities that research indoor environmental quality.
 
Funding Organization: Halton Foundation
 
Scope: Solutions for enhanced indoor environmental quality
 
Eligibility: Open to non-profit organizations—regardless of geographical location—that conduct research on improving human well-being in indoor environments or develop solutions to enhance indoor environmental quality.
 
Awards
Selected proposals may receive:
• One-time grants which are single-year grants for a specific purpose
• Multi-year grants for no longer than three years; and,
• Start-up program grants
Depending on the scope and nature of the project or program, the amount of the grant may vary between thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of dollars. Grants shall not exceed 30,000 USD per year.

• Submit the full grant application form with all required attachment through the Foundation’s grant application portal.

2. Thrive Grant for Plant-Based Food Systems and Sustainable Alternatives
 
The Thrive Grant is a global funding opportunity designed to support organizations working to transform food systems by reducing reliance on industrial animal agriculture. The program focuses on accelerating the transition toward plant-based, sustainable, and equitable food systems.
 
Funding Organization: Thrive Philanthropy
 
Scope: Plant-based, sustainable, and equitable food systems
 
Eligibility:
• Non-profit organizations
• Based outside the United States
• Independent entities (not international branches of U.S.-based organizations)
• Annual budget typically under $500,000 USD
• Strong reputation within their community and stakeholder network
 
Maximum Award: Grants range from $10,000 to $30,000 USD.

3. Global Science Summit Programme 2026
 
The Global Science Summit Programme 2026 supports researchers working on novel, interdisciplinary, and collaborative science-based solutions, enabled by digital technologies and health data, to current global challenges within cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs).
 
Funding Organization: Novo Nordisk Foundation
 
Research Scope: Projects should build on existing evidence on contextual barriers to detection and adherence and test innovations that address one or more of the following challenges:
• How to detect CMDs earlier in high-risk individuals across the life course
• How to integrate screening and follow-up within existing service platforms
• How to design patient-centred adherence strategies that account for behavioural, socioeconomic, and gender-related barriers
• How to establish or improve health system structures that improve treatment adherence for multiple CMDs and their comorbidities
 
Eligibility: Applications are open to researchers worldwide, with collaborations between 2-3 research groups.
 
Maximum Award: Up to 7 million DKK for 1 -3 years.
