เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (มจธ.) ร่วมกับ Malaysia–Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA) จัดงาน MTJA Research Cess Fund (RCF) Roadshow 2026 ณ ห้องพินิจวิทัศน์ (V Space) ชั้น 14 อาคารการเรียนรู้พหุวิทยาการ (LX) มจธ. บางมด โดยได้รับเกียรติจากคณะผู้บริหาร MTJA นำโดย คุณพิพัฒน์ จิรพงศ์พิพัฒน์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร และคณะผู้แทนจาก MTJA เข้าร่วมงาน พร้อมกันนี้ รศ. ดร.สุวิทย์ แซ่เตีย อธิการบดี มจธ. คณะผู้บริหารและผู้แทนจากโครงการที่ได้รับทุนวิจัย RCF ให้การต้อนรับ การจัดงานครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ขอบเขตการให้ทุนภายใต้ Research Cess Fund โดยมุ่งเน้นงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอุตสาหกรรมการสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียม (Exploration & Production: E&P) ตลอดจนส่งเสริมให้นักวิจัยพัฒนาข้อเสนอโครงการที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการในพื้นที่ Malaysia–Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) ได้รับความสนใจจากอาจารย์/นักวิจัยของ มจธ. มหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศไทยและประเทศมาเลเซีย เข้าร่วมรับฟังการบรรยายพร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น
นอกจากนี้ ผู้บริหารและคณะผู้แทนจากทั้ง MTJA และ มจธ. ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการที่ใช้ดำเนินงานวิจัยในโครงการ RCF เพื่อรับฟังความก้าวหน้าของโครงการวิจัย และแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองด้านการนำผลงานวิจัยไปใช้ประโยชน์
งาน Roadshow ครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้อาจารย์ นักวิจัย ได้รับข้อมูลเชิงลึกโดยตรงเกี่ยวกับทิศทาง นโยบาย และความคาดหวังของ MTJA ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมความพร้อมในการพัฒนาข้อเสนอโครงการวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพ และสนับสนุนการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างประเทศไทยและมาเลเซียในอนาคตต่อไป

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with Malaysia–Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA), organized the MTJA Research Cess Fund (RCF) Roadshow 2026 on 8 May 2026.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Pipat Jirapongpipat, Chief Executive Officer of MTJA, together with representatives from MTJA. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, along with the university executives and representatives from RCF-funded research projects, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The Roadshow was organized to promote research funding opportunities under the Research Cess Fund (RCF), with an emphasis on research related to the Exploration and Production (E&P) industry, as well as to encourage the development of research proposals aligned with the needs of the Malaysia–Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA). The event attracted considerable interest from faculty members and researchers from KMUTT and universities in both Thailand and Malaysia.
In addition, representatives from MTJA and KMUTT visited research laboratories supporting RCF-funded projects to receive updates on the progress of the research activities and to exchange views on the potential utilization of the research outcomes.
The Roadshow provided a valuable platform for researchers to gain direct insights into MTJA’s policies, directions, and expectations, while further strengthening research collaboration between Thailand and Malaysia.
