The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) has launched its 2026 Call for Ideas to select and accelerate eight innovative solutions that can drive private climate investments in emerging markets.

• Asia-Pacific – Mitigation
• Brazil – Adaptation/Mitigation
• India – Adaptation/Mitigation
• Latin America and the Caribbean – Adaptation
• Latin America and the Caribbean – Mitigation
• The Philippines – Adaptation
Benefits:
• Selected ideas will receive a comprehensive support package that includes expert guidance, technical assistance, funder mapping, networking opportunities, and pilot implementation support.
• After the incubation cycle, a subset of eligible vehicles will receive financial support through the Lab’s Pre-Seed Capital Facility, with conditional grants of up to USD 250,000 to help fast-track their implementation.
Application Process: Applications are accepted through a two-phase process, starting with preliminary submissions on the Lab website by November 9, 2025. Applicants whose ideas align closely with the Lab’s programs will be invited in early December to submit full applications.
