Exploratory/Developmental Bioengineering Research Grants [Deadline: Applications are due on 16 February 2025]

The Exploratory/Developmental Bioengineering Research Grants (EBRG) funding program supports projects that demonstrate feasibility and potential utility of new capabilities or improvements in quality, speed, efficacy, operability, costs, and/or accessibility of solutions to problems in basic biomedical, pre-clinical, or clinical research, clinical care delivery, or accessibility. The overall goals are to identify cancer risks and risk reduction strategies, to identify factors that cause cancer in humans, and to discover and develop mechanisms for cancer prevention and preventive interventions in humans.

Funding Organization: National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA

Research Scope: Bioengineering research related to cancer

Eligibility: Applications are open to researchers in the USA and worldwide.

Maximum Award: The award provides up to 275,000 USD for over 2 years.

Application Process: Application should be submitted via the NIH ASSIST system.

Application Deadline: Applications are due on 16 February 2025.
