The Liveability Challenge (TLC) seeks groundbreaking climate solutions from across the world that push the boundaries of innovation. TLC welcomes all projects above Technology Readiness Level (TLR) 6 and have already achieved proof of concept. While teams may be based anywhere in the world, the proposed project must be applicable to Singapore and cities along the tropical belt.

Scope: The Liveability Challenge 2025 features two main themes:
- Decarbonisation: disruptive deep-tech solutions that provide scalable and impactful solutions to reduce carbon emissions across diverse industries. Examples of such solutions include, but not limited to: waste-to-resource, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
- Cool Earth: groundbreaking innovations that specifically address the challenges posed by climate-induced extreme weather conditions. Examples of such solutions include, but not limited to: heat mitigation, nature-based solutions.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be 18 years old or older.
- Projects are at least at the Technology Readiness Level (TLR) 6 and have already achieved proof of concept
Maximum Award: Grand winners of each track will receive S$1 million grant funding.
