1. Call for Proposals: ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund 2026 
 
The ASEAN–ROK Cooperation Fund supports collaborative projects that strengthen strategic partnerships, promote regional integration, and address shared development priorities between ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea.
 
Funding Organization: ASEAN–ROK Cooperation Fund
 
Priority Areas:
• Public health – To support the control of infectious diseases including COVID-19; to enhance cooperation in developing healthcare capacities; to establish and strengthen networks for public health cooperation in the region; to address future public health emergencies
• Education and training – To promote inclusive and equitable quality education; to develop human capacity through more opportunities to higher education and lifelong learning in areas such as Science, Technology, and Engineering and Math (STEM); to improve the relevance, quality, and access of technical and vocational education and training (TVET); to expand ASEAN-ROK educational exchanges; to support and cooperate in improving and innovating distance learning systems; to promote the advancement of public administration
• Culture and tourism – To expand two-way cultural exchanges; to increase support for the development of cultural and creative industries and MSMEs; to strengthen active cooperation in tourism and sports; to enhance multicultural inclusion; to continue people-to-people exchange initiatives by utilizing virtual and digital technologies
• Economic resilience – To strengthen supply chain connectivity, diversification and resilience; to promote digital economy through e-commerce, e-government and e-services; to provide support to MSMEs and smart infrastructure development
• Environment, safety and peace – To strengthen cooperation to cope with climate change issues and reduce carbon footprints; to expand cooperation to protect the oceans, biodiversity, and the environment; to provide support to strengthen disaster management capacity; to promote cooperation to combat terrorism, violent extremism, and other transnational crimes and non-traditional security
 
Eligibility of Proponents and Implementing Agencies (IAs):
• ASEAN: ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Intergovernmental Organisations,Government Ministries in ASEAN Member States (AMS), Government-affiliated Organisations, Non-profit Organisations and Universities, Public Associations and Foundations in ASEAN Member States (AMS)
• ROK: Government Ministries, Government-affiliated Organisations, Non-profit Organisations and Universities, Public Associations and Foundations

2. SEARCA Travel Grants Program
 
The SEARCA Travel Grants Program is designed to enable agriculture and rural development professionals, social scientists, and graduate students from Southeast Asia to engage with the global scientific community. The program provides financial support for participation in scientific conferences, workshops, and forums, helping grantees share research, establish professional networks, and foster collaborations that advance sustainable agricultural and rural development.
 
Priority Themes: Agricultural development, food security, climate resilience, and empowerment of agricultural stakeholders.
 
Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be nationals of Southeast Asian countries
• Be professionals, researchers, social scientists, or graduate students in agriculture, rural development, or related fields
• Submit papers aligned with SEARCA’s priority themes.
 
Priority Applicants
• Individuals presenting papers or research at conferences
• Projects or presentations that foster meaningful linkages, collaborations, or tangible development outcomes
 
Maximum Award: Up to USD 1,200, which can cover conference registration fees, travel costs (airfare, ground transportation), accommodation, and related expenses for both in-person and online events.
 
Application Process: Applications must be submitted online through the SEARCA Grants Information System.

3. AstraZeneca CoSolve Programme
 
The CoSolve programme from AstraZeneca seeks collaborators with innovative solutions to real research challenges worldwide. It is a virtual problem solving ecosystem where AstraZeneca publicly posts challenges looking for innovative solutions.
 
Funding Organization: AstraZeneca
 
Current CoSolve Challenges:
• High throughput screening assays to map macrocyclic peptide permeability and stability properties
• AI/ML-ready datasets for peptide permeability & oral bioavailability or macrocyclic peptide screening libraries to enable oral, cell permeable macrocycle design
• Non-canonical amino acids for in vitro display systems
 
Eligibility: Applications are open to academia, start-ups, and early-stage biotechs with expertise in these specialised areas. Proposals should be on innovative solutions that can be translated into practice within a 12–18-month timeframe.
 
Maximum Award: This opportunity provides access to AstraZeneca’s knowledge, resources and team.
 
Application Process: An interested submitter will submit a brief description of their solution for review. Finalists will be selected to participate in the Challenge Week. The Challenge Week will bring together solvers for an intensive week to pitch their ideas and work with AstraZeneca scientists to transform their idea into a workplan. At the end of the challenge week, AstraZeneca will put a collaboration agreement in place with specified milestones and the project will begin.

4. Call for Proposals: Energy Catalyst Round 11
 
The aim of this competition is to accelerate the innovations needed to create new or improved clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, the Indo-Pacific region and Latin America. This is to create a just and inclusive energy transition and extend the benefits of clean energy for all to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 and 13.
 
Funding Organization: Innovate UK
 
Scope:
• Create or improve energy access for eligible countries in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, the Indo Pacific regions and Latin America
• Have a technology or business model which is affordable, reliable and low carbon
 
Eligibility: This competition is open to collaborations only. To be eligible for funding you can be from any country and must be either a:
• business
• research organisation
• research and technology organisation
• charity
• non-governmental organisation
 
To be the UK administrative lead on a collaborative project your organisation must be a UK registered organisation.
 
The consortium must contain at least one micro, small or medium sized enterprise from anywhere in the world.
 
Grant Types:
• Early stage: have total costs between £50,000 and £300,000 and last between 3 and 12 months
• Mid stage: have total costs between £50,000 and £1.5 million and last between 6 and 24 months
• Late stage: have total costs between £50,000 and £5 million and last between 6 and 36 months
 
Application Process: Applications must be submitted online.
