1. FIP Foundation Early Career Leadership Development Scholarships
The FIP Foundation will award scholarships to assist young pharmacists or pharmaceutical scientists to attend the 2026 FIP World Congress and participate in the Leadership Development Workshop, scheduled for 30 August to 2 September 2026 in Montreal, Canada.
Funding Organization: FIP Foundation for Education and Research
Scope: Pharmaceutical science
Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be pharmacists, pharmacy educators, or pharmaceutical scientists and have graduated within the past 8 years from their first degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences;
2. Applicants must live and work or study in a country or territory with an income level classified as low, lower-middle or upper-middle by the World Bank in the latest available classification. It is not mandatory that applicants are nationals of, or live in, countries or territories where FIP has member organisations.
3. Applicants who have previously received financial support or a scholarship from the FIP Foundation are not eligible to apply for a FIP Foundation early career leadership development scholarship.
Maximum Award: The scholarship provides FIP Congress registration, hotel accommodation for five nights (up to a maximum of 625 Euros in 2026), and visa fees where applicable. Financial compensation for travel will be provided based on the recipient’s region for the most economical travel relative to the location of the Congress. Additionally, recipients will receive a one-year Individual Membership of FIP, a meeting with leaders from the FIP Foundation, FIP ECPG, Regional Forum ExCo, and FIP, as well as mentorship from two appointed mentors — one from the Early Career Pharmaceutical Group (ECPG) and another from the recipient’s region to assist with project planning and implementation.

2. Science for Nature and People Partnership Grant Program
The Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP) Grant Program funds collaborative science initiatives that transform research into actionable conservation and sustainability solutions. It encourages interdisciplinary teams, including scientists, decision-makers, and implementers, to co-design projects with tangible, real-world impact.
Research Scope: Nature conservation
Eligibility:
• Working groups led by 2–3 Principal Investigators from different organizations.
• Teams of 12–15 members representing academia, non-profits, indigenous and community groups, government, and mission-driven entities.
• Inclusion of at least one full-time research fellow with a structured mentorship plan.
• Collaboration across multiple sectors with no single entity dominating the project.
Maximum Award: Each year, SNAPP provides up to US $1 million across 4-6 approved working groups.
Application Process: The application follows a two-stage process comprised of a short concept application, followed by a limited number of invited full proposals.

3. 2026 Future Conservationist Awards
The awards aim to build leadership capacity among conservationists with less than five years of professional experience, helping them develop practical skills to address threats to biodiversity and promote sustainable management of natural resources.
Funding Organization: Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP)
Research Scope: Wildlife Conservation
Eligibility:
Proposed projects must be focused on protecting species categorised by the IUCN Red List as globally threatened (Critically Endangered, Endangered, Vulnerable) or Data Deficient, or when there is information indicating the need for urgent conservation action. Projects may address themes such as climate impact and adaptation, habitat restoration and/or management, social development and wellbeing, Indigenous community participation, and/or environmental policy.
• Projects must last between three to 12 months
• Projects must take place in one of the eligible low- and middle-income countries
• in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern and South-
• eastern Europe and the Middle East.
• Project teams must include at least three people
• All team members must be early in their careers (i.e., have no more than five years of professional conservation experience)
• All team members must be nationals of the country in which the project will take place, although one team member can be a non-national if this is clearly justified in the application.
Maximum Award: Up to $15,000 as well as ongoing support through CLP’s global Alumni Network, including funding, training and mentorship.
