This award provides funding for established researchers and teams from any discipline and based in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, or low- and middle-income countries who want to pursue bold and creative research ideas to deliver significant shifts in understanding related to human life, health and wellbeing.
Funding Organization: Wellcome Trust
Research Scope: Dicovery research that has the potential to improve human life, health, and wellbeing.
Eligibility: The scheme is open to established researchers who
- have the experience needed to drive and lead a research program,
- have a track record of managing and training orthers,
- have a permanent, open-ended, or long-term rolling contract, and
- are based in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, or low- and middle-income countries, excluding India and mainland China.
Maximum Award: The average size of a Discovery Award is £3.5 million for up to an 8-year duration.
Application Process: Applications must be submitted to the Wellcome Funding platform (https://funding.wellcome.org).

– Wellcome Early-Career Awards ดำเนินการภายในวันที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568
– Wellcome Career Development Awards ดำเนินการภายในวันที่ 3 เมษายน 2568
– Wellcome Discovery Awards ดำเนินการภายในวันที่ 8 เมษายน 2568
2. ส่งข้อเสนอการวิจัยผ่านระบบบริหารงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรม (KIRIM) โดยมีเอกสารรูปแบบ PDF
ทั้งนี้ ขอให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนให้แล้วเสร็จภายในเวลาที่กำหนด เพื่อ สวนพ. ดำเนินการตรวจสอบและเสนอพิจารณาข้อเสนอโครงการต่อไป
