The University of Utah is now accepting applications for the Wilkes Climate Launch Prize to highlight top global ideas for combating climate change. The goal is to develop effective climate change solutions quickly for the benefit of people and ecosystems worldwide.

Focus Areas: Greenhouse gas reduction

Eligibility: Organizations at all stages, both for-profits and nonprofits, anywhere in the world are eligible to submit ideas to be considered for the Wilkes Climate Launch Prize.

Award: The Prize is worth $250,000.

Application Process: Applications must be submitted online by 25 February 2025 at: https://wilkescenter.utah.edu/prize/2025-climate-launch-prize/prize-application/. Finalists will be invited to submit second-round application on 13 May and pitch in-person at Wilkes Climate Summit at the University of Utah on 15 May 2025.
